I purchased this electric fire place for my new house and none of the buttons on the controll panel on the fire place works. Foutunately it comes with a remote, but sometimes you have to touch the button to turn it on and of several times along with the heater control. The flame and log adjustment on the remote seems to work fine. I am conssidering buying a different one and putting this one in my bedroom.

I love the fireplace it was not easy to put together and some of the parts did not match up exactly, but once it was up it looks really nice and can warm up a room. I am very happy with my fireplace and would recommend it to anyone.
