The new Designer Series Blendtec is one fine blender. It is powerful, fast, and a breeze to keep clean. Love the fact that it fits under the counter, looks great, and works super. This machine was a replacement for a Vita Mix and while that was a good machine it does not perform like the new Blendtec. Love the jar design, the more robust cutter, and the ease of clean up. I am eating a more healthy diet and have noticed the increased energy because of it. Thank you Blendtec, I have given your new design five stars.

Love my Blendtec Blender! I use it almost daily to make healthy smoothies. It can chop and blend anything! The noise is a bit annoying, but the results are well worth that little problem.

This machine, the Magnifica ECAM23450SL is a replacement for my previous similar DeLonghi machine, ESAM 3500, which I used for about five years. This new model is better in every way! It has been redesigned so the footprint is smaller, the coffee bin now has a rubber seal to keep the beans fresher and the milk pitcher nightmare is over.The previous design used two different pitcher tops/nozzles for the milk; either latte or foamy cappuccino. Over the life of the machine, I purchased three different cappuccino tops but was never able to get foam and finally gave up. The current model uses just one top with a selector knob with infinite settings from latte to very foamy - the foam can be heavenly clouds! Other improvements: the grinder is now a bit quieter (partly due to the rubber seal on the bean compartment) and the coffee temperature may now be adjusted upward through 4 stages to "very hot" if desired (it has been rated as having among the hottest coffee temperatures).The appearance of the machine is beautiful with one caveat: the surface plate on which the coffee cup rests is a beautiful clear, shiny metal which shows scratches and scuff marks whenever ceramic cups are used.The manual insists a DeLonghi descale product must be used, but a call to tech support elicited an OK for the much more prevalent Durghol descaler.This machine makes a fabulous cup of coffee!!

Initial impression is very good. I am still trying the perfect grind setting to get that great flavor from Lavazza Super Crema whole bean espresso. The frother right out of the box is great and makes great cappuccinos. And it fits right under my kitchen cabinets! Has dual boiler and almost all the features of a $3000 machine in a much smaller footprint.Has auto cleaning of spouts every time you turn it on and off.Will update after few weeks of experience with this Italian "home barista!"UPDATEI have now used this machine to serve cappuccinos at a small party at my home and it made 9 drinks without a hiccup one after another. The grind setting I like is between 2 and 3. I keep the froth setting closer to 3 but not max. The froth is 1 to 1.25 inchesthick at best; enthusiasts might wanna try manual milk frothing at a dedicated steam vent (this machine does'nt have it) for a thickerfoamed milk. So far I am happy with my purchase and highly recommend this to anyone who just wants plain coffee, espresso andcappuccinos. Other drinks can be made with more hassle. Since I love cappuccinos and it has a dedicated button for it, I can't ask for a better machine for a little over $1200. One caveat: this machine is only good if you follow its cleaning instructions and clean its frothing unit periodically( I clean once a week but if you make several drinks a day you are looking at more frequent cleaning ).For the rest, the digital display will tell you when to dump the spent grinds or fill tank, empty drip tray etc.

Although it was a refurb I thought it would last longer. Beans wouldnt go into grinder without help, one side of the cup warmer got so hot you couldnt touch it. I was able to return for full refund but very disappointed in the quality of the machine as I have had another Delonghi that is 4 years old and still pretty darn reliable.

I chose this machine because of the reviews I read on Amazon. It performs beautifully. It works quickly and efficiently. Cleanup is a breeze. My only complaint is that it seems to need a little help to get the beans down to the grinder. It is working better now than it did when I first got the machine but I still have to watch it to make sure the beans go down the shoot. It is a small price to pay for excellent espresso quick and easy.

I received this item today and although it was sold by Amazon as new, it was missing three components: (1) one of the two milk frothers; (2) the "Nespresso Grands Crus capsule tasting gift"; and (3) the "Welcome to Nespresso" folder. This is evidently a refurbished unit that Amazon is selling as new. Customer service was utterly unhelpful. I returned it today, and won't purchase another as I have no guarantee of receiving a new machine. Very disappointing, Amazon.

Had this for about 3 weeks now and have made around 50 cups of coffee. So far so good. It is incredibly easy to use and simple to clean which goes a long way. The coffee is only as good as the beans of course but Nestle does a good job of using quality beans. The small size also is a real plus.
