I picked up this machine from the keurig website when I saw an offer I couldnt refuse: the v600 was being sold for $95 (and 100 club points). Keurig also threw in 4 free full-size vue cup boxes and free shipping. Since solofil had already come out with a vue version of their "my kcup", I took the plunge. I already have a cuisinart kcup machine which I love but the Vue is my new favorite coffee maker for several reasons: there are simply more brewing options , the coffees taste better and stronger, the lattes are quite good and the vue cups are recyclable. The touchscreen is a nice touch but the buttons are a little on the small side.i do wish you could set a default cup size in the menu but thats only a minor quibble. The machine does make a moderate amount of noise when brewing, especially on the strong setting, but NOTHING compared to my first kcup machine which could wake the dead. At this point, there are about 70 varieties of vue cups and they are readily available in my area. There is always online shopping (keurig.com always has sales going on) so availability is not a concern. I am now a big fan of this machine and highly recommend it!

I got this as a christmas present, since my platinum keurig was dying on me. This machine I can say is awesome. I am still trying to figure out the sleep and auto on feature, but I do love being able to fully customize the size and strength of my drinks. The ice and froth feature on it are a fun bonus too! Before I'd set my old machine to about 2 sizes smaller then my largest tumbler for ice tea, this one I set to exact size and hit the brew over ice button. Water heats up very quick and does come out very hot. Hot cocco I still prefer the old fashioned way with milk. For now I will still continue to use my hot coco make with chocolate chips and milk rather then my vue. Keurig.com was having a sale and I got my perfect ice tea packs for cheaper then here and I signed up for the club which gave me an extra 10% off my order. There isn't a lot of varieties yet for the Vue packs, but that should change soon hopefully. They are slowly getting more and more vue packs. I am happy with the V600 instead of the V700, the only difference between the 2 is a color touch screen. That doesn't matter to me and I'd rather save the extra money and stick with the V600 with the black and white screen. All the other specs for the machines side by side are identical, I found no difference in the mechanisms what so ever. I am so thrilled with my new machine, and only wish there was a way to make the cups compatible until they are phased out for good.

We are an extended family with many different taste and needs. Our new vue does it all..makes espresso for me, breakfast coffee for my hubby, iced coffee for our daughter, hot cocoa for our sons and tea for our daughter in law. I have found it quicker to use the hot water from my vue and tea bag rather than use our counter top kettle.Coffee is perfect and hot! I haven't tried the latte pods yet because I personally don't drink caffeinated drinks. I had originally bought the new Starbucks verismo espresso/latte machine. I returned it ASAP, coffee was bitter, not hot and the puncturing of the pods was hit and miss. Howerver the latte wasnt so bad, but very short which made it kinda expensive, but it did come in decaf ;) So, after I returned it I did a lot of research and tried the vue-600..and so glad I did!The Pro short list...-quick instant drink gratification-great cup of coffee-temp selection-select different sizes-nice and hot-so easy to use-pretty good decaf selection & regular coffee-Eco friendly recyclable pods! The Cons which aren't very big but is why I gave it 4 stars...-weird noise as it pumps water through the vue cup-kinda big-no Eco vue cup that I can fill with my own grounds..I hope it comes fast-I prefer to use the hot water and my own loose tea. This might be just because I don't typically use the brands available for the vue or because a cup of steeped tea is just a better cup of tea.All in all I am so happy and recommend this coffee/beverage machine!

Pros: auto on, auto off, adjustable temp, adjustable quantity, adjustable strength, Vue packs are RECYCLABLE!Cons: Vue packs aren't widely available (hopefully this will change once more consumers discover what a superior system this is), doesn't fit tall travel mugsI'll start by saying I love rich coffee. I used to own a Keurig K40 elite. The only thing adjustable about it was the volume of the brew (small/medium/large). Even on the smallest size I could not get the coffee strong enough. I tried dark roast Kcups, even used a refillable coffee filter with Italian roast espresso beans. Still too weak. Plus I hated the idea of all those kcups ending up in a landfill. With the Vue, I feel like Keurig took all the things I didn't like about my old machine, fixed them, and added new features that I didn't know I wanted (but will actually use).As a side note, any extra kcups you may have left CAN be used in the Vue. Just save the "travel mug size" cups that come with the machine in the sampler pack, and search YouTube for how to use kcups in the Vue. It's very easy.
